GR9W and GR9AW

GR9W and GR9AW Power Converters

GR9W and GR9AW converters are AC/DC power converters cooled in forced water. These devices have been designed to cover the needs of customers that require a low noise level or an extremely compact solutions

These devices have been designed to cover the needs of customers that require a low noise level or an extremely compact solutions.

They are available in different configurations, with a current range that varies between 200Adc and 1750Adc and a supply voltage range of 400Vac and 690Vac.
The converter is a cooled demineralized water solution and every converter is equipped with line fuses and snubber filters.
The quick water connector allows to replace the module without any water leakage avoiding to empty the cooling circuit.
The three-phase converters of the "W" series are offered in different configurations and two different construction types.
The converter is wall mounted and can be installed in two different position in order to cover several electrical layout.

Configurations are the following:
- Three-phase diode rectifier
- Three-phase thyristor rectifier
- Semi-controlled three-phase rectifier.

The construction typologies:
GR9W: converter with module semiconductors with current range from 250A to 1250A
GR9AW: converter with disc semiconductors with current range from 500A to 1750A
