SD-MCU Control Unit
The control unit SD-MCU (SECOMDRIVE Main Control Unit) is a universal control system for low voltage Inverters completely developed internally.
Focused on industrial applications, the control unit currently covers a wide range of types of controls for induction motors, regenerative front-ends and much more.
The fiber optic connection between the control unit and the power section simplifies the wiring also in the parallelization of the converters.
SECOM Drive Manager (SDM) it is the drive parameter configuration tool that speeds up and simplifies commissioning, monitoring and any driver update made by the customer with a simple ethernet connection.
The SD-MCU allows you to select the most suitable control method based on your needs.
It offers control strategies for Inverter, F3E (Fundamental Frequency Front end regenative unit), AFE (Active Front end regenerative unit) and more.
The SD-MCU is equipped with an integrated realtime PLC (IEC61131-3) that allows you to create custom logics, manage automation at various levels, control both the I/O on board and interface I/O expansion modules or, again, interact with the control software.
